Oil Absorption Value, also known as Resin Adsorption Volume, is an index that indicates the amount of filler absorbed into the resin. The oil absorption value is usually expressed in terms of the mass of linseed oil required for 100g of sample (% or mL/100g). That is, per 100g of sample, the minimum amount of oil required to achieve complete wetting.
